Tuna penne pasta

INGREDIENTS Measurements


2 cans tuna in olive oil
1/2 Kilo penne pasta, cooked
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 yellow pepper, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
2 cups diced tomato with juice
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/4 cup black olives, sliced
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Salt and pepper
Fresh basil for garnish



  • Drain tuna and break into chunks.
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium high heat, add garlic and stir for a minute.
  • Add peppers and sauté, then stir in tomato, season with thyme, salt and pepper.
  • Simmer until sauce slightly thickened, add pasta, and toss to combine.
  • Remove from heat, Add tune and olives, stir gently.
  • Place pasta in serving dish, garnish with cheese and basil.
