Turmeric macaroni salad

INGREDIENTS Measurements


2 cups elbow pasta
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 cup sliced celery
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
Salt and pepper



  • Boil water over medium high heat, season with salt.
  • Add pasta and stir every now and then.
  • Cook for about 8 minutes or until al dente, strain.
  • Place boiled pasta in a bowl, mix in turmeric, celery, and parsley.
  • Season with salt, pepper and mayonnaise.
  • Place in a serving plate and serve cold.
