INGREDIENTS Measurements

  For chicken

1 kilo fresh boneless skinless chicken breast
1 cup yoghurt
1 teaspoon ground masala spices
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon paprika
3 tablespoons oil
Salt and pepper

  For serving

Bread
Mint yoghurt dip
Sliced tomato
Lime wedges

METHOD

  

  • Wash and dry chicken breasts, then cut evenly into cubes.
  • Mix yoghurt, masala, turmeric, paprika and oil in a bowl, season with salt and pepper.
  • Combine chicken with the yoghurt mixture, cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or through the night.
  • Heat oven broiler.
  • Place the chicken pieces in a sheet pan, sprinkle with oil.
  • Grill for 20-30 minutes.
  • Serve chicken tikka warm with bread and yogurt salad.
  • Garnish with sliced tomato and lime wedges.
